The MSP-1 (WP92464L1) Power Supply can be used to supply local power to ISDN-T 65xx, 75xx, and 85xx series voice terminals connected to a DEFINITY Communications System G1, G2, and G3, a DEFINITY ECS, and to the DCP 7444 and 8434/8434DX voice terminals which need auxiliary power for their vacuum fluorescent displays. The MSP-1 can also supply auxiliary power to adjunct equipment such as the S201A and CS201A speakerphones or a 500A Headset Adapter attached to any currently manufactured analog, DCP, or ISDN-T voice terminal equipped with an Adjunct jack.

Note: One power supply will support one telephone with or without an adjunct. The maximum loop range between the telephone and the power supply is 250 feet. This power supply replaces the KS-22911-L1/2, 329A, and 353A DC Power Supplies and the 2012D AC Transformer.

Auxiliary Power In both a 4-wire or 2-wire configuration, most 8400-Series voice terminals are phantom powered from the PBX. However, you will need auxiliary power in the following instances: ■ If you are using an 8411 or 8434DX voice terminal (These sets require auxiliary power.) ■ If you have an 801A Expansion Module (used ONLY with the 8434DX voice terminal connected to a DEFINITYŽ Communications System G3V3.3 or later switch) ■ If there is an attached adjunct equipment, such as an S201A Speakerphone

The following power supplies can be used with the 8400-Series voice terminals:
■ Stand-alone 1151A1 Power Supply (PEC: 2404-010; Comcode: 107785693) and 1151A2 Power Supply with Battery Holdover (PEC: 2404-012; Comcode: 107785339)
■ Stand-alone MSP-1 (PEC: 2404-010; Comcode: 406743419)
■ 1145A Bulk Power Supply (PEC: 2404-011; Comcode: 106448939) Battery for the 1145A (2.5 amp per hour battery) (Comcode: 106448921)
Features
  • The MSP-1 power supply has a single output of -48 volt DC, 0.4 amperes, and
  • can operate from either a 120 VAC 60 Hz power source (105 to 129 VAC) or a
  • 220/230/240 50 Hz power source (198 to 264 VAC). Input voltage selection is
  • automatic; that is, the power supply adjusts itself for the type of input voltage. The
  • output capacity is 19.2 watts.
