TL 9000 is the telecommunications industry derivative of ISO 9001. It was developed by the QuEST (Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications) Forum standards body. This standard harmonizes telecommunications quality management system (QMS) requirements for the design, development, production, delivery, installation and maintenance of hardware, software products, and services. TL9000 is an industry-specific standard designed to promote the use of best practices in telecommunications, and TSRC (Telesource) is among the few in its arena to receive certification.
