The AVAYA 4610SW features a 2 line by 16 character display for optimal
viewing of caller information, 6 programmable feature buttons with LED, feature
keys; speaker, mute, hold, volume up and down, conference, transfer and redial.
Also features a full duplex speakerphone with echo cancellation, directional
microphone and a tuned speaker cavity will provide reduced distortion and
optimized voice quality for clearer calls. With the built-in infrared (IrDA)
port, you can communicate with and command the phone to dial numbers using a
personal digital assistant (PDA) or other infrared equipped device.
The 4610SW IP has a large capacity LAN connection for large data transfer. They
connect to your IP network by a single 10/100baseT Ethernet LAN connection. An
Ethernet connection built into each phone enables you to connect a desktop
computer to your LAN by plugging it directly into the phone, without needing a
separate computer connection in the wall. Will automaticly obtain an IP address.
The AVAYA 4610IP Telephone allows power to be supplied through several
alternative methods: A local external power supply with power through a Special
Jack, Bulk Power from the closet on spare Pins 7&8 with either an AVAYA
proprietary or IEEE standard supply, or from the data switch over the Ethernet
signal pairs.
